ITALY - Barolo is one of Italy’s greatest wine styles. To some, it is the very best. To capture the essence of it, we went to a family-run company who are considered local pioneers in the region. This is a magnificent, big red wine well worthy of Barolo’s famous ‘king of wines’ title. It’s intense, rich and smooth with a warm finish and superb balance.

Bollinger Special Cuvée NV - £75.00 
FRANCE - Bollinger’s Special Cuvee is one of the world’s most successful non-vintage Champagnes. It’s known as ‘The House of Pinot Noir’, crafting 60% of every blend from the difficult-to-grow grape. It’s costly, laborious and difficult - but there’s nothing that tastes quite like this delicious fizz. Leading fizz critic James Suckling gave it a huge 92 points and praised its “super fine, even and elegant” palate.
